The content was a project overview and the upcoming milestone release 1.0.0-M1 of the new HERAS^AF XACML Core. The new HERAS^AF architecture that starts being delivered from 1.0.0-M1 was introduced. The audience got a deep insight into the design and flow within the HERAS^AF evaluation engine:

• Main concepts like: Evaluatable, PDP factory, XACML-types factories, Combining Algorithms, Target Matching, ...
• Sequences of the evaluation (basic and advanced)
• Some major design decision
• An outlook where the evaluation engine (HERASAF XACML Core) is going

There was also the opportunity to try out. We offered an preconfigured Eclipse-Workspace with two sample cases. We had some very interesting discussions about HERAS in general and the evaluation engine in particular. Workshop materials:
